We’re offering FREE training!

SWAT Security, and its partners are working as Ontario’s employment and training network partner to offer free security guard training courses to those looking to enter the fast evolving security industry. Your job is out there and we are here to help you find it.

We understand that entering or advancing in the security field can be challenging, whether you’re just starting out or looking to enhance your skills. That’s why we offer comprehensive training programs designed to equip you with the knowledge and certifications needed to succeed in this field.

Our program includes the following:

1. Licensing Training 

Delivered in partnership, for new prospects, this course prepares you for the ministry’s security guard licensing exam. Completion of this training, along with CPR/First Aid certification, will allow you to obtain your security guard license through Service Ontario.

2. CPR/First Aid Training 

Delivered in partnership with M16, this prerequisite course ensures you meet the ministry’s requirements for licensing.

3. Level 1 Training

For licensed security guards, this course focuses on essential on-the-job knowledge and skills to strengthen your day-to-day effectiveness. Participants can also chose to get trained in industry standard software such as deputy and or tractik providing highly relevant skill sets for the security workplace of today. 

4. Level 2 Training 

This course includes situational training such as de-escalation techniques, use of force (including batons and handcuffs), and sensitivity training to enhance your operational skills.

5. Level 3 Training

A case study-based advanced course covering threat assessments, team management, personnel deployment, and the use of industry-standard software and logging tools.
