Today, the Honourable Pierre Poilievre, Minister of Employment and Social Development, Minister of Democratic Reform, Minister responsible for the National Capital Region and Member of Parliament for Nepean ¿ Carleton met with representatives of the Ottawa Police Service to acknowledge the unique role they play in the safety of the National Capital Region and to commit $10 million in funding over five years in support of policing services, as outlined in the 2015 Economic Action Plan.
